Please enjoy this RNN’s Profiles in Health and Wellness featured guest Ryan Irving who is a personal trainer and owner of IRV Fit. Ryan’s initial interest in fitness was self-serving. He wanted to be a bigger and stronger athlete. His focus shifted to helping others and his career as a coach and personal trainer began by helping his grandmother. He educated her about the benefits of exercise and healthy eating and through incremental changes she lost 50 pounds which she has maintained to this day. Ryan works with a diverse clientele. “I like to be able to help individual’s who otherwise wouldn’t be exercising.” He believes that everybody has their areas to improve upon, even athletes. Ryan’s purpose in training is to completely understand each client’s unique and individual needs in order to create a personalized approach. His hope is that he can help each of his clients reach his/her personal goals.
