Please enjoy this RNN’s Profiles in Health and Wellness featured guest Greg Drab who is the owner of Advantage Personal Training in Mystic Connecticut. Greg shares how he got into exercise for himself at the age of 12 lifting weights with his older brothers in the basement. “It was a habit that once I started I never stopped.” He was so passionate about it he decide to major in Exercise Science and pursue a career in the fitness industry.

Greg eventually opened his own personal training facility, Advantage Personal Training, in 1999. He feels that a personal trainers gives clients they are working with a “road map.” “What to do and how to get there.” Greg also has a nutritional coach, massage therapists, and physical therapists available at his gym. He enjoys serving his community and helping others . “Half the time it doesn’t feel like work.” Greg is beginning to see a shift to more healthier lifestyles in our country and believes his profession is having an impact.
